Pro Stock Tour Revises Plans for Double Header Weekend

(Halifax, NS, July 22, 2009) The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour has revised plans for the rescheduled double-header at Raceway Park in Oyster Bed Bridge, set for August 1st and 2nd. What was to be a double header weekend, featuring a 100 lap race on both Saturday and Sunday, will now be combined into one 200 lap event on Saturday, August 1st. Parts for Trucks will present the first 100 laps and Lucas Oil will present the final 100 laps of the event.

Time Trials will take place at 5:10pm with the Dartmouth Dodge Dash For Cash set to start at 6:00pm. Following the first 100 laps, presented by Parts for Trucks, there will be a brief intermission which will allow the teams to tune up their cars for the final 100 laps of the event. Following the intermission and mandatory pit stop, the cars will line up on the grid in the order they finished the first 100 laps. The Final 100 laps will be presented by Lucas Oil.
