RACE TIME RADIO TO GO LIVE
FROM CAT 250 SATURDAY
Race Time Radio (RTR) and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour announced on Thursday that Saturday evening’s Atlantic CAT 250 at Scotia Speedworld will be aired live on The Score, Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 158, starting at 7:00 p.m. Atlantic. The broadcast will feature live flag-to-flag coverage of the 12th annual event and will include pre and post race ceremonies to kick and cap off the show.
The broadcast crew will include the host of Race Time Radio Joe Chisholm and Tim Terry, the voice of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. The RTR team recently made Canadian Motorsports history by covering the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body live on The Score Channel 158.
The Atlantic CAT 250 is one of the three extra distance races of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour season, joining the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body and the Dartmouth Dodge 200 as events that extend longer than the regular 100-lap features that make up the Tour schedule. The CAT 250 at Scotia Speedworld is round nine of 12 on the Tour, which will go a long way to determining a champion of the series.
Heading into the Atlantic CAT 250, Fredericton, New Brunswick’s Shawn Tucker sits just four points up on Wayne Smith from Timberlea. Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island’s Darren MacKinnon is third in the standings while John Flemming (Halifax) and Kent Vincent (Crapaud, PE) complete the top five.
