Ben Rowe Officially Enters
Atlantic CAT 250

(Halifax, NS. Aug 5, 2011) Super Late Model hot shot Ben Rowe (Turner, ME) has added his name to the talented roster of drivers set to do battle at the Atlantic CAT 250. The extended distance event will be held at Scotia Speedworld on Saturday, August 13th as part of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Rowe is a five-time PASS champion and currently sits second in the PASS North point standings. Rowe is no stranger to the CAT 250 or victory lane, Rowe won the prestigious event in 2002 and 2003. Rowe will have to beat more than 25 of Canada’s best stock car drivers if he wants to become the first three-time winner in the 12th edition of the CAT 250.

A second generation driver, Ben and his father Mike make up the Turner, ME Rowe family duo who have been so successful on the short tracks of eastern North America. The addition of Ben Rowe on the list on entrants for the Atlantic Cat 250 has just made it more difficult for the other drivers to win the race. Rowe would like nothing better to win the Atlantic CAT 250 and take home the Scott Fraser Memorial Cup and a piece of the $50,000.00 purse posted for the event.

Rowe will drive the # 10 Chevrolet out of the Steven Henderson shop in Truro, NS. Henderson currently fields the Dexter Construction / Municipal Contracting sponsored Chevrolet of 2009 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion Shawn Turple.
