PRO STOCK TOUR NOT RETURNING TO OYSTER BED SPEEDWAY IN 2013
The Maritime Pro Stock Tour announced today that the popular stock car racing series will not be returning to Oyster Bed Speedway (OBS) on Prince Edward Island during the 2013 season. Oyster Bed Speedway has been hosting two Pro Stock Tour events annually since the Tour’s inception in 2001.
Maritime Pro Stock Tour General Manager Ken Cunning explained,”Without going into too much detail, we have been talking with OBS since the end of the season and have not been able to come to an agreement. We very much would like to race at OBS, and regret that our Island drivers will not be able to race in front of their hometown fans, and that our Island fans will not have an opportunity to see a race at their hometown track next summer.”
