LINDE GASES UP WITH
PRO STOCK TOUR FOR 2012

(Halifax, NS – May 9, 2012) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) and Linde Canada are pleased to announce that they have partnered once again for the upcoming season. Linde will continue their support of the top level of Atlantic Canadian stock car racing by backing the Linde Most Laps Led Award while also supplying a Miller Electric Welder for use by the teams during the season.

The Linde Most Laps Led Award goes to the driver in each main feature on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour that leads the most circuits in the main event. Former three-time series champion John Flemming (Halifax, NS) led 382 laps last season to collect the end of season bonus from Linde while eight drivers pocketed individual race bonuses by leading the most laps in their respective features.

Linde also supplies the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour with a Miller Electric Welder for use on the Tour throughout the season. The welder is transported to each track by Pro Stock Tour officials and is available to the teams should they need it throughout the duration of a race day. At the season ending Awards Gala for the series, the welder is given away via a random draw made amongst full-time competitors on the Tour. Flemming was the lucky recipient of the Miller Electric Welder at the 2011 Awards Banquet held in Charlottetown, PE. The Gala moves to the Crowne Plaza in Moncton, New Brunswick for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
