LINDE SPONSORS MOST LAPS LED
AWARD FOR 2014 SEASON
(Halifax, NS – June 5, 2014) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) and Linde Canada are excited to announce that they have partnered again for the 2014 season. Linde will continue their support of short track racing in Atlantic Canada by backing the Linde Most Laps Led Award, while also supplying a Miller Electric Welder for use by teams on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour during the season.
The Linde Most Laps Led Award goes to the driver at each event that leads the most circuits in the main feature. Four-time series champion John Flemming (Halifax, NS) led the most laps last season to collect the end of season cash bonus from Linde while six different drivers, including former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski, pocketed individual race bonuses throughout the season by leading the most laps in their respective features.
Linde also supplies the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour with a Miller Electric Welder. The welder is transported to each track by Pro Stock Tour officials and is available to teams should they need to use it throughout the duration of race day. At the season ending awards gala for the series, the welder is given away via random draw to a full-time competitor on the Tour. Terence Bay, Nova Scotia’s Craig Slaunwhite was the lucky recipient of the welder at the 2013 awards banquet held in Moncton, NB last November.
