PRO STOCK TOUR RETURNS TO PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND FOR LUCAS OIL 150
(Halifax, NS – July 30, 2019) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is heading to Oyster Bed Speedway this Saturday, August 3rd for the Lucas Oil 150. This is the second and final stop on Prince Edward Island this season for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. The Lucas Oil 150 marks race eight of twelve for the Maritime based stock car racing series. Qualifying for the Lucas Oil 150 gets underway with Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races at 6:00 PM.
There is a battle going on for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour championship point lead. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) is currently on top of the leader board but Island driver Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) continues to close the gap week after week. Hicken is now just 10 points behind Blenkhorn heading into the Lucas Oil 150 at his home track. Craig Slauwhite (Terence Bay, NS) is in third but just one marker ahead of Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) who sits fourth, both drivers are still in striking distance of the leaders. Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) is also in the hunt and rounds off the top five in points.
Race Time Radio will be making their first ever visit to Prince Edward Island on Saturday. Prior to the Lucas Oil 150 the Maritime League of Legends will race a 50 lap feature. Also on the racing card are Street Stocks and Bandoleros.
Tickets for the Lucas Oil 150 will be available at the gates on race day. Adult admission is $30.00, youth (8-15yrs) $10.00 and children 7 and under are free. Pit admission for this event is $35.00.
