Gary Elliott to Race Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour in 2020

Gary Elliott has registered the number 36 for the 2020 season.

Elliott born in Truro, Nova Scotia has lived in Ontario, seeing him complete 51 years of racing. The most recent years saw him participating in Late Models and Modified cars throughout Central Canada and beyond. He moved back home in late 2019 and has been busy readying a shop and purchasing a car from Cole Butcher’s stable. A car that won the 2019 Season Finale and Gary is preparing it for the 2020 season.

The 2020 season will see Elliott’s familiar number 36 Quaker State sponsored Chevy competing at tracks in the Maritimes, as he completes his first full season with the Parts for Trucks Tour. 2020 will mark his 52nd year of competition and his 47th year relationship with Quaker State. He has well earned his nickname – “The Iron Man”!

Elliott was a fan favourite in Ontario, as he is fan friendly, displays his car often for his sponsors and is a respectful driver on track. Expect to see him throughout the Maritimes this coming summer. Be sure to stop and see Gary and welcome him back to the Maritimes.

The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour races 12 times from May to September at Oyster Bed Speedway in Oyster bed Bridge, PE, Petty International Raceway, River Glade, NB, Riverside International Speedway, James River, NS and Scotia Speedworld, Halifax, NS.
