Toromont Cat 150 To Highlight September 11 show at Riverside

(James River, NS – September 3rd, 2021) –Good news race fans! The cars and stars of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour will be at Riverside International Speedway for the Toromont Cat 150 next Saturday, September 11. They'll be joined by the NAPA Sportsman Series in the Henry's AUTOPRO 75.

The Toromont Cat 150 will see local favourite Donald Chisholm in the popular Cat Car for Kids as the event will be a fundraiser for the IWK Foundation, in lieu of the IWK 250 originally scheduled for this date.

"We're happy to be able to do a smaller event next Saturday," said Joan Roué, general manager of Riverside International Speedway. "We are excited to have an opportunity this year to raise valuable funds and awareness for the IWK Foundation. Many thanks to Toromont Cat for their continued long-time support of Riverside and the IWK Foundation."

The Toromont Cat 150 will offer drivers the chance for extra winnings with a Lap Leader Bonus of $25/lap, adding over $3,000.00 to the purse posted by the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. The race is a championship points event for the series.

With the province still in Phase 4 of the Reopening Plan, the facility will be operating with COVID-19 restrictions in place and significantly limited capacity. Tickets will be available online early next week at www.RiversideSpeedway.ca. Race time is 4 p.m.  Adult tickets are $30.00; 15 & under are $10.00 each (HST included).

In accordance with current COVID-19 protocols, the infield pit area is restricted to essential crew members only. Teams will receive advance pit pass purchase information directly.
Free camping for self-contained RVs is available for this event, unreserved and unserviced. There is plenty of free spectator parking as well.
