(Halifax, NS – June 21, 2023) – The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour returns to Scotia Speedworld this Saturday for the Nova Truck Centres 150 in support of the incredible athletes of Special Olympics. The Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series (MASS) will also be competing in a 100-lap feature on Saturday. Combined, the two Series will provide edge of your seat action from some of the best racing talent in the region. 

Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will kick-off racing action at 4:00pm and set the field for the Nova Truck Centres 150. Grandstands will open at 1:00pm on Saturday.

After three events two-time Series champion Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) sits atop the championship standings with a slim 8-point margin over former Rookie of the Year Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS). Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) sits just 22 points behind Slaunwhite in third. Mike Rodgers (Moncton, NB) and Russell Smith Jr (Lakeside, NS) are having great seasons and sit fourth and fifth respectively as they enter the Nova Truck Centres 150.

The Maritime Allstar Sportsman Series is expecting a stellar field of drivers. Just some of the roster highlights include Brady Creamer (Miramichi, NB), who has won the first two events and will enter Scotia Speedworld as the MASS championship point leader, and Deven Smith (Lakeside, NS), the defending MASS Champion. The race will see the return of Stacey Clements (Hubley, NS) and Mike Riley (Timberlea, NS) to the Sportsman division at their home track. Visiting drivers include Ronnie MacKay (Sydney, NS), Michael Cormier (Grand-Barachois, NB), Steve MacPhee (Yarmouth, NS), Kevin Morse (Antigonish, NS), Dennis Nickerson (Marshy Hope, NS) and Brandon Carter (Moncton, NB).

Adult tickets for the Nova Trucks Centres 150 are $30.00, youth (8-15) are $10.00, children seven and under are FREE. Tickets are on sale now at https://novatruckscentre150.eventbrite.ca. Tickets will also be available at the gates on race day. Pit passes are $35.00 and available only at the pit gate on Saturday.
