Pro Stock Tour Welcomes Competition Directors

(Halifax, NS – March 15, 2023) – The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour is pleased to announce that Ernie Ledwidge and Mike Ledwidge will be joining the Series as Competition Directors.

Prior to taking a hiatus in the late 2000’s, Ernie and Mike had a long and storied history with the Tour and were largely responsible for its growth through the early years. Although not actively involved, their interest and passion for racing has endured. Their dedication to the health of motorsport racing is unparalleled.

Ernie and Mike dedicated their time over the past months to assist in updating the 2023 Rules and Procedures.

Ernie will focus on supporting the tech department and handle competitors’ questions and concerns. Mike’s primary concentration will be working with Scott Cunning on race control in the tower.

Collectively they will establish and build working relationships with race competitors, maintain/update rules and procedures, in addition to strengthening communications with competitors.

The Maritime Pro Stock Tour are privileged to have Ernie and Mike rejoin the team.
Mike Ledwidge offered the following comments. “We would like to thank Dan and Cecil for giving us the opportunity to return to the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour.  When Dan originally asked Dad to help clean up the rules, we realized how much we missed doing this sort of thing. It was an easy decision to return.”

“Once we have the procedures settled and posted, we look forward to talking with as many of the competitors that we can within the weeks following. There are some exciting things coming down the line for the teams.  We hope to have some informal gatherings to share our vision and what direction we plan on heading with this tour.  Our short-term goal is to talk with as many drivers as we can. If you plan on running with us, we hope to talk with you.”
