PRO STOCK TOUR RETURNS TO
OYSTER BED SPEEDWAY FOR THE
BJ’s TRUCK CENTRE 150

(Halifax, NS – July 26, 2023) – The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour returns to scenic Prince Edward Island this Saturday for the BJ’s Truck Centre 150. This will be the Series’ only visit of the season to Oyster Bed Speedway. The race will mark round seven of 11 for the popular touring series. Qualifying kicks off at 5:00pm, anchored by Atlantic Tiltload Pro Stock Heat Races.

Jonathan Hicken (New Glasgow, NS) did a great job subbing for Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) last week at Petty International Raceway. Hicken brought the 99 car home in second, allowing Slaunwhite to maintain the top spot in the championship point standings. Jarrett Butcher’s (Porter’s Lake, NS) consistent results this season have elevated him to second. Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) is currently third but just 7 points behind Butcher. Russell Smith Jr (Lakeside, NS) and Mike Rodgers (Moncton, NB) continue to hold down fourth and fifth positions in the chase for the championship.

Also on the racing card for Saturday are the Cross Roads Maritime League of Legends, Bandoleros and Street Stocks and four-cylinders outlaws who will thrill fans prior to the BJ’s Truck Centre 150. 

Tickets for the BJ’s Truck Centre 150 will be available at the gates on race day only. Adult tickets are $30.00, youth (8-15yrs) are $10.00, seven and under are free. Admission to the pits is $40.00.
